UnCollected Press attempts to publis four issues of The Raw Art Review per year. We integrate the publication of each issue with the movements of the seasons in the Eastern United States (Mid-Atlantic), using a submission deadline that corresponds to the designated calendar end-date for the particular season. Our deadlines are March 21 for the Winter issue, June 21 for Spring, September 21 for Summer and December 21 for the Fall issue. The desire in integrating publication in this way is to imbue the process with more than a very basic counting system. The hope is that shifts in ecosystems, migrations of birds and animals, dream-infused hibernation and arousal back into waking life ( also dream-infused), solar and lunar revolutions circling in consort, will transform the quotidian with some special energy. The conceit breaks down when we try and accomodate our global footprint, of course. So, we ask our Southern Hemisphere and Equatorial contributors to please pretend.
